What is this study about?

The study aims to find out how people commute to work at the South Kensington campus, what barriers exist to sustainable travel choices and how people’s attitudes and preferences towards their commute change over time.

You will be asked to complete two online surveys; one now, and one at the end of the year. Some participants will be asked to log a travel diary over the course of 2 months.

We also invite expressions of interest in the Mobility Hub pilot scheme. This is mainly targeted at current car users (i.e. those who travel to work in their private car). These participants will receive free access to a Brompton bicycle, for their personal use, as well as access to the Enterprise Car Club. They will be asked to try out cycling to work for 2 months and forego use of their private vehicle.
